Halloweened out...

What an amazing time of year. It has been so exciting playing with the girls and watching their excitement as the holidays arrive... I swear, i am already "Halloweened" out! we have gone to Cedar hill farms where we got pumpkins, went on a hay ride, played on a pirate ship, played with all the farm animals, watched pig races, ate fudge, met a "REAL" princess, and saw a chicken show. Then we went to Fall Fest at out church where there were a MILLION games, bounces a puppet show candy and slides. We went to Zoo Boo too... I swear we have been so busy! At zoo boo there was a fortune teller, that knew all about Grayson (Matt had filled out all her favorite things on a form) She told the fortune teller how much she loved church and everything she learned in her Sunday School. It was SO great to hear her talk about!The lady said wow! that sounds like a great place! when we were done and walking away Matt said how do you think she knew all that great stuff about you? Gray said, Oh she has probably just seen me on facebook.... I was cracking up! How in the heck does she know about Facebook??

Cars vs Princesses

What a fire cracker! I know I haven't written in a while, but its mostly bc this one keeps me on my toes! She is a ball of energy! She thinks she can do EVERYTHING that her sister does and wont take a bit of help.  She loves grayson SO much and wants to be JUST like her, WHILE having her own opinion.  For example, Grayson wanted a new box of bandaids and the store so Greer had to have her OWN box.  She did not want princesses like sissy she wanted Cars.  When Matt went and got "big girl" cups for the girls, he bought princesses, ariel, snoopy and Buzz Light Year/Woody.  Greer picked first and got Buzz and and Snoopy.  She is determined to be her own little person.  Gray has had soccer practice and games starting.  Greer refuses to wear any other shoes other than soccer cleats and soccer socks. She is so funny!

Grayson's First Goal!

Gray made her fist soccer goal this week!!! I was SO proud of her! Everyone got to be there! Me and matt, My mom and dad and Pam! It was AMAZING!! she was SO excited. I was at the goal yelling for her and she made it right in front of me then ran into my arms for the biggest hug and then straight to her daddy for one from him! It was so awesome! She is getting better and better.  She tells me everytime how hard she is gonna play.  She is not shy one bit!

Spring Break 2012

Well, spring break is coming to an end. it has been the most amazing week. i have never had a greater week in my life! we started the week off by heading to the river. just myself and matt and the girlies.  We had so much fun! they were HILARIOUS! we left Tuesday night after the grays soccer practice. the girls slept all the way down there because they were exhausted! we got there around 11:30 and though it was a bit of a fight got the girls to bed. we got up and played all day! the girls took a nap and then we packed for camping!!! Grayson was SO excited! she asked all day about when we were gonna go. when we got there we went set up the tent and went on a hike.  We stopped at the playground and then went to the waterfall.  greer even hiked almost the whole way! she wanted to do everything sissy did! The girls were so excited about everything.  They looked for worms found sticks for the fire. we cooked hot dogs and they thought that was a blast.  then we went to the bathroom wich was just a ways down from our campsite and got a spit bath.  the girls thought that was great too! they were so excited that there were bugs in the bathroom! we got back to the campsite and even though hey had just had a bath they went straight to digging in the dirt.  We made smores and sat around the fire. Matt was so amazing all weekend he just talked them through everything and was just as excited as they were. finally it was time to go to bed. matt had put our two air mattresses int he tent. they didnt exactly fit. it was kinda like a big boat. both side went up.  i finally got the girls in there and told matt i would try to get them quiet and asleep.  Greer was NOT having it. she was like an octopus with her arms and legs EVERYWHERE! she kept slapping me in the face as i was trying to sooth her to sleep and she would say stop it mommy stop it! i was like, i am the one getting slapped! you stop it! she was hilarious. she just rolled from one side of the tent up and down saying that everyone was stinky and she "lubbed" us. "mommy stinky, daddy stinky, sissy stinky, lub u mommy, lub u sissy" finally matt gave up on the hope that i might come out of the tent and joined us. greer immediately crawled on top of him.  when she snuggles you she makes this hilarious humping motion.  i ended up having to rock her on the air mattress for about twenty minutes before she finally got quiet. the night was so cold and Matt and i's air mattress completely lost air.  i woke up at one point and asked matt what time it was. i thought it was about 5 in the morning. he told me it was 12:30 at night. we woke up the next morning (very sore) and ate donuts around the fire. we packed up and went to the hatchery.  the girls loved the fish.  they were so big and greer said fishy!!! guppies!! the whole time.  we got back to the river and played more and more.  we left friday and got home round 3.  we played outside and then went to eat mexican with annice and grant. the girls have so much fun with emmy and elly.
the next morning was grayson's first soccer game! she was GREAT!!! she said "momma, i got in there and i took that ball from those boys! i wasn't scared! and she sure did! she had her elbows going and everything! she was SO CUTE!! she played so hard! elly cried the whole time and did head stands.  Everyone came to see her. Pam, granny Z and mom and dad. it was really fun. then we had lunch out at RIzzis and had pizza with everyone. we had a party that night at the Paule house and the girls all played again for hours. today we had church and then a shower at annice's house. i am exhausted, but it has been one hell of a good week and i wouldn't trade a minute.

Dino days

What an AMAZING weekend!! Friday we went out with all of our friends to a bar (SKiMos) and listed to Grant and Beanpole play.  It was a blast... just having a good time and listening to the band! Saturday we met up with Pam and went to the zoo to see the Dinosaurs.  The girls were hilarious! they had such a blast.  Grayson was so funny.  She thought she already knew all the dinosaurs names.  She kept saying... "momma this is a tyrannosaurus rex, daddy this is a brachiosaurus, gran pam this is a brontosaurus...) the funniest part i just had to agree with her because until i looked at the sign i had no idea!! Gray didn't want to stand beside any of the big ones, but she loved watching the babies!

We have these little plastic dinosaurs greer and i play with at home i always stick my finger in it and scream real loud like it is biting me.  When we first got there one of the little workers came out holding one of the "baby dinosaurs" the first thing greer did was stick her finger in and scream at the top of her lungs like it was killing her!!! it was hilarious!

When we got home Jacob was outside playing.  He had just learned how to ride his bike with out training wheels!! Jen was almost in tears.  I can  not believe how fast they are growing.  I can't even imagine that gray may be doing that in the next year!

After that Grant and Annice came over with the girls.  We had a blast playing around.  It is so funny how great the girls play now.  They just run around and dress up and play pretend.  They truly are friends.  I love watching them!  Even Greer and Emmy would roll through with the strollers with their babies in them just waving and smiling.  They walk in the den saying bye!!! bye!!!. Such sweet little angels.

Great Night

had a great night. grilled out and watched my little rag-a-muffin monkeys swing, slide, dig and play. greer is FEARLESS!!!! and grayson is such a supportive big sis! always watching out for her and taking care. i just love walking outside and taking a big deep breath of warm air! Bring on SPRING!!!!

Cry baby

Greer cried from 3:30am on today! She is getting to the point where she knows she can scream and we will come get her. She is not crying because she is hurt or hungry... just lonely. She is getting clingy too. When i go to drop her off at Judy's she has started whining and not wanting to let me leave. Yesterday she bit Gray so hard on the back of her arm!! There was a HUGE whelp! Judy called me at work to tell me she was spanking her. She is SO SMART and has such a large vocabulary. She has begun to get upset when she can't express herself.

in the beginning

It seems like not matter how hard i try i can not seem to keep my journal going with everything i want to say, so i am going to try it this way! it is always the little things i want to write down and never seem to get around to. like for an example, this week grayson told me she was to to eat a graham cracker so on Thursday she would have a baby in her belly! where does she get this stuff?? she is all into marriage and love and babies. Matt had to set her straight the other day and give her an appropriate order... school, college, full time job, your own house... then a hubby. She told Jacob across the street that they were going to get matching tattoos and then get married. oh dear, im afraid its going to be long journey as a parent. Greer had another allergic reaction this week. her last one was to asparagus. i was out to lunch with pam and her face started to turn all red... we had to go next door to walgreens and get benadryl! who knows what it was. she was eating a lot of zucchini...
